Jonathan Baumgartner is an attorney whose practice focuses on adoptions, conservatorships, estate planning, probate, trusts, and uncontested family law matters. A Knoxville native, Jonathan is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most important legal decisions with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in American History, from the University of Tennessee before receiving his Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law. During law school, he completed Rule 31 mediation training and participated in mediation clinics, developing practical skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and client advocacy. He also spent time interning at the Knox County Civil Circuit Court, where he learned valuable skills and heard exactly what judges look for in each case.
Known for his thoughtful approach and attention to detail, Jonathan assists clients with wills, trusts, estate administration, probate proceedings, and uncontested divorces. He believes effective legal counsel begins with listening carefully, communicating clearly, and crafting solutions tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
Outside the office, Jonathan enjoys collecting vinyl records, organizing online gaming tournaments, serving his church community, and spending time with his dog, Ripley. His commitment to service, both professionally and personally, reflects his belief that the practice of law is ultimately about helping people protect what matters most.
